This year in Latin I will be  using a variety of curricula, including but not limited to  Latin for Americans II and Wheelock’s Latin.  You will not need a textbook but you will need a Latin-English dictionary.  I recommend either Cassell's or

 The following grammar will be covered:

                    1. All tenses of infinitives

  2.  Subjunctive Mood: Present, Imperfect, Perfect and Pluperfect tenses

3.  Uses of Subjunctive: Indirect Statement; purpose and result clause; jussive;

4.   Irregular verbs

5. .  Deponent verbs

6.  Gerund, gerundive, passive periphrastic.

This year we will spend more time translating stories and myths from Latin to English and learn more of the history of Ancient Rome through the translations.
